Meet Your Newly Elected NMA National Officers
After weeks of crisscrossing the Country, traveling to the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, campaigning online and offline, holding discussions with Doctors in their various Specialties and Affiliates, the Candidates who put themselves forward for election into the various Offices in the NMA at the National Level finally took a break yester-evening to allow the delegates to the 58th Annual Delegates Meeting of the NMA to either give them a nod of "Yes go on" or "No, just hold on a little while" and the elections were held and "the chosen" and "the not chosen for now" have been made public.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Hippocratic Profession, here are your new National Officers for the 2018 - 2020 Service Tenure
1. President - Dr. Faduyile Adedayo Francis.
2. VP 1. - Dr. Tijo Kenneth Mengeh.
3. VP 2 - Dr. Ofem Egbe Enang.
4. Secretary General - Dr. Odusote Muyiwa.
5. Deputy Secretary General - Dr. Benjamin Umezurike
6. Treasurer - Dr. Ayuwaja Nayagawa
7. Fin. Sec. - Dr. Abdulgafar Jimoh
8. Publicity Secretary - Dr. Obimakinde Obitade Sunday.
We congratulate the newly elected National Officers of the Nigerian Medical Association and also congratulate all those who participated in the campaigns and the elections.
We would like to drop a free and unsolicited for piece of advice to the newly elected NOC, especially the President and Secretary General to reach out to the other Contestants with a view to harnessing the good points and programs they have in their manifestoes, since winning and losing are all about service to the body of Medical and Dental Practitioners in Nigeria and the Diaspora.

the #NMADecides2018 Program - a Political enlightenment Program for Medical
and Dental Practitioners aimed at showcasing the candidates for the 2018 NMA
National elections would kick off on Monday 9th April 2018 with the appearance
of the National Publicity Secretary (unopposed) - Dr. Obimakinde Obitade Sunday
- who incidentally would be the first Medical Doctor to occupy that post.
The program as you have
also been earlier informed would be an online program and would be shared
through the social media platforms we have in our portfolio

In furtherance to our preparations for the Appearance of the Candidates
which is scheduled to commence on Monday 9th April 2018 with the Office of the
National Publicity Secretary, we are now at the stage of pooling of questions.
If you have any question/s which you would like the Candidates to give
a reply to, kindly send them to us either by dropping them on this post or if
you crave anonymity, send them to topitupmedcom@gmail.com
Questions can be General in nature or Specific with respect to the
Office to be occupied.
No personal questions will be entertained except if they have to do
with explanations of perceived actions or inactions of the past but no personal
attack on the Candidate would be allowed

We have reached to all the
Candidates including those returned unopposed and they all expressed their
willingness to participate in the program.
However, like we said from
the beginning, this is a FREE SERVICE and participants are not expected to pay
anything to anybody. Participants are also free to withdraw their participation
at any time and owe no one any explanations.
But we would rather that
our National Officers to be, take the time to engage with us through this
program.
